Nestled in the tranquil village of Palugal, at the very border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Angels Palace stands as a radiant symbol of genuine compassion and steadfast commitment to the well-being of our beloved senior citizens. Founded in 2018 through the generosity of kind-hearted well-wishers and the benevolent Jack family, Angels Palace was born from a vision to offer not just shelter, but a true home where the senior citizens may live their golden years in peace, dignity and heartfelt care, as envisioned by Rev. Dr. B. Russel Raj.
The foundation for this noble endeavour was laid in 2008, when Mr. Jack, moved by a deep sense of service, generously provided the financial support to acquire 4 acres and 4 cents of serene land at Manalivilai, Palugal Post, later named Jackshields. What began as a dream took tangible form on June 5, 2015, when construction commenced, blessed by Most Rev. Jeromedhas Varuvel, Bishop of the Diocese of Kuzhithurai and supported by the continued generosity of the Jack family, Mr. Robert Tomlinson and the gracious Sisters of St. Joseph of Mirine.
This home was blessed on April 7, 2018 and formally inaugurated on August 22, 2018, a date chosen to honour Mr. Jack’s enduring legacy and to celebrate the Feast of the Queenship of the Blessed Mother, a fitting tribute to a mission rooted in love and service.
Today, Angels Palace stands proudly as a registered haven for senior citizens and the destitute, where each life is treasured and each soul uplifted. We hold close the belief that old age is not a burden, but a sacred season meant to be celebrated with grace, comfort and human dignity. Within these walls, residents are met not only with professional care but with genuine affection and a profound sense of belonging.
